Huge loss for the team and very disappointing for Scott who already lost a year of eligibility for transferring. Look for Carleton Scott to take the starting small forward slot now, but we lose a ton in depth and talent without the Purdue transfer.

Ouch! Don't forget about Abromaitis. Extremely disappointing development. I hate to be a naysayer but I think it would be very, very difficult for Martin to come back after not playing for 2 years and on a surgically repaired knee. One of the sad realities of college athletics is that life goes on....with or without you. I feel terrible for this young man and I hope for a good outcome.
Good point about Abro. He's a bit of a wild card. We haven't been able to see him play serious minutes in two years in the program (or seen him in a uniform since his freshman year) but he should have better scoring ability than Scott, with less athleticism.
Peoples is the other guy who could be considered to start at the 3, but I really hope it doesn't come to that.
Why not Peoples? He has not ever been given the chance to show what he can do. He has the experience and maturity the others are lacking. He is one of the physically strongest on the team.
From everything I've been reading, Abro is going to start. Brey basically said as much to a Fox Sports reporter. Hopefully he's as good as everyone's been saying [Laphonso's been raving about him since he was a freshman].
Isn't Abro out for the first six games of the season due to NCAA?
Is C.Scott back from the ab injury? What about Abro's 6 game suspension?
