Georgetown/UCONN tonight, a nice little holiday treat. It will be a matchup of the top team in the country according to Ken Pomeroy (Georgetown) and polling consensus #2 (Connecticut).
Hoops is on ESPN2, since bowls take precedent this time of year. The Alamo Bowl and PapaJohns.com Bowl, contests not necessarily equal in history and ingenuity of titling, take place today. Take your pick.

Congrats also to Georgetown for a statement-making win at Connecticut. ESPN cover boy had 4 points and 7 rebounds. Way to show up, Hasheem.

Of course, Hasheem will play over his head against Notre Dame. Georgetown is one of those teams on my list of teams I hate. But, I think they will be the biggest threat to end our home winning streak. I will be there screaming my lungs out for the Irish.
the issue will be defense. We can score with anyone (other than NC). Stop's may come tough when we see UCoNN, Gtown, And Marquette.
